Pace is an Alternative-pop act based in London. Formed in 2015 by singer-songwriter Adam Pavlovcin, pianist and composer Adrian Cermak and later in 2017 joined by guitarist Lorenzo Calvo and drummer Chris Eleos, the four piece bonded over their shared desire to produce music and performances that raise controversy, blending ambient and airy guitar lines, dramatic piano parts, cinematic drums and deep soulful vocals. Inspired by the “genre-bending” and avant-garde pop of Sevdaliza and Aurora, their music and aesthetics are always pushing the boundaries of a status quo. Being also influenced by the neo-folk/rock spirit of Mumford and Sons, Matt Corby and Sufjan Stevens, Pace elaborated their own unique sound. This summer they showcased their moody cinematic qualities at Brighton Pride’s LoveBN1 Festival, 2000Trees Festival in Cheltenham, at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, as well as in many other London and European performances and as an opening act for Grace Carter.
